Graduated from University College, Dublin in 2005 and became a member of the Irish College of General Practitioners (MICGP) in 2011. Started the practice in Ederney in October 2013.

  • 08:45 - 12:15 blood tests, blood pressure, wound dressings and ear syringing
  • 14:30 - 16:00 telephone advice, (except Wednesday) blood results. COPD & Asthma reviews
  • Smear Clinic 14:00 - 16:00 Tuesday afternoons (every 2 weeks by appointment only)
  • Quit smoking advice available by appointment
  • Travel vaccine advice

Practice Manager

Fiona Colreavy

The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.

Community Midwives

Sister Mary Maguire SRN,SCM

Sister Maguire provides care for mothers before and after delivery. She is available at the antenatal clinic every other Tuesday 14:00 - 15:00. She may be contacted through the surgery.

Community Nurses

We have a team of district nurses who provide home care for the house bound. We are in contact with them daily.

Health Visitors

We have a team of health visitors who provide care for children up to 5 years old. They are available at the baby clinic every Thursday between 15:00 0 16:00. They make regular assessments of each child’s development until five years old. They are also involved in health education and can offer general advice to parents/guardians.
